Kevin Hall has a “need to create,” and his Elevated Candle Company has become his creative outlet. His commitment to the environment and sustainability brought him to using repurposed wine bottles as the containers for his soy wax candles.
When he was getting Elevated Candle off the ground, he called restaurants in his home city of Tulsa, Oklahoma and asked if they were recycling their wine bottles. They weren’t, so he arranged with them to collect the empty bottles, which are then cut, beveled to remove sharp edges, and cleaned before becoming a stylish candle vessel. The different colors of wine bottles means Elevated Candles are not all the same!
Kevin’s choice of soy wax also reflects his environmental principles. Soy is a vegetable wax that burns cleanly and slowly, but it’s best feature according to Kevin is that it is completely renewable. The soy in Elevated Candles is U.S. grown, eco-friendly and carbon neutral.
Using the best fragrances that can be found, and scents that have been designed to relieve stress, each candle is hand poured over cotton wicks that are lead and zinc free. The candles are left to cure for at least a week before each candle is wrapped in tissue and then packaged in a sealed box for sale. When properly maintained, Elevated Candles are virtually smoke and soot free!

First, each bottle is carefully cut and cleaned, then it gets a cotton wick before being filled with our all natural US grown soy wax and fine fragrance and essential oil blends. The glass is then polished, labeled, and topped with an ink free dust cover. The finished candle becomes a unique artisan piece that will complete any space. 12 ounces/ 80 hours

,Hello!! I am a simple person with a passion for flowers and home décor. I am crazy about my God, family and business. I am not fancy with my words or in person. I say it like it is and love to share my passion. I love to talk about the things I am passionate about. My husband of 36+ years is my ROCK!!! His passions are tractors, old engines and lathes. He goes to the tractor shows which gives me a chance to go antiquing and visiting green houses, so it works out very nicely. I LOVE to learn all I can about flowers and gardening. Now you wouldn't think that were the case if you came to my house because I don't have a large garden, but that is my plan when I retire at 60 (7 years away, happy dance, happy dance). My plan is to play in the dirt when we are not traveling. So, little by little I am working to make my back yard my "Ootsie Oasis" for when I retire. I hope you enjoy playing with flowers and playing in the dirt with me, because that's what I love to do. I may not know all there is to know about flowers and dirt, but I love researching and figuring it all out. Hey it's dirt, what could possibly go wrong? RIGHT? As I always say. "BLOOM WHERE YOU ARE PLANTED BECAUSE I BELIEVE IN YOU!!"
