Let us help you honor someone special this Memorial Day, choose a floral spray from Ootsie's Boutique.
Placing flowers on a gravesite is a time honored tradition. On Memorial Day, we turn our attention to those who have fought and died in service to our country. The late May date was chosen so that everyone would have access to gorgeous spring flowers, and since then, on Memorial Day, cemeteries brighten up with colorful blooms.
Remembering someone who served can be as simple as placing a single rose on the gravestone, but for family and loved ones, larger sprays and memorial crosses are available.
We can deliver to Fairview and surrounding areas, but please get your orders in quickly.

In a valley surrounded by red mesas capped with gypsum rock, the great grandfather of John Gosney staked his claim during the Oklahoma Land Run over a century ago. After a hundred years of farming, the land is once again home to native grasses after beginning the process of becoming an organic farm in 1996. These grasses provide plenty of grazing opportunities for the cattle on John’s Farm.
With such high quality meat comes high quality beef jerky. It’s full of flavor and wonderful nutritional benefits, like plenty of protein and iron. Creating jerky seemed natural to the Gosney family. The Cheyenne tribes that camped in the cracks of the Gloss Mountains would slice meat into strips and string it up to dry in the sun. While our methods today are different, the portability of such a rich source of protein and nutrition is still realized.
Whether you choose to take beef jerky with you while climbing the mountains, fishing in the streams or to an ordinary day at work or school, you can’t do better than Gloss Mountain Beef Jerky.
Gloss Mountain Beef Jerky has simple ingredients with names that you recognize and can pronounce. It starts with pure, quality beef raised on John’s Farm just outside Fairview, Oklahoma. It’s seasoned with salt, sugar, spices and a hint of garlic before being dried to perfection, leaving a beef jerky that is free of MSG, nitrates/nitrites, preservatives, dairy, wheat, corn syrup and chemicals, but full of flavor.
Ootsie’s Blossoms and Boutique is proud to support the local farm and their high standards by carrying Gloss Mountain Beef Jerky in our shop.

John’s Farm is located just outside Fairview, Oklahoma, where John and Kris Gosney consider themselves stewards of the land. For generations their family farmed using traditional methods, adapting as times changed, but in 1996 an opportunity arose to take over farming on neighboring land, but under one stipulation, that it continue to be farmed organically.
Out of this endeavor has come high quality, organic and local products that we are pleased to carry at Ootsie’s Blossoms and Boutique.
The Fairview’s Best line of organic wheat, milling flour, spices and mixes are favorites among the health conscious and those who value high standards in quality. The Organic Whole Grain Wheat Flour is sown, tended to, harvested and milled by John’s Farm. It’s certified organic and non-GMO verified.
Fairview’s Best also has organic field peas and black-eyed peas as part of their product line. They make a great addition to a hearty soup.
For a little more flavor, turn to Fairview’s Best Chili Mix. It’s not too spicy, but perfectly seasoned. Great with beef, but it also tastes great with turkey or chicken or in vegetarian chili. All Fairview’s Best seasoning mixes are wheat and gluten-free as well as being free of preservatives, nitrates/nitrites, MSG and corn syrup.
Finally, Fairview’s Best All-Purpose Seasoning, available in both course and fine ground, was developed right at the farm. The perfectly balanced spices provide flavor to veggies, eggs, popcorn and meats.

Kevin Hall has a “need to create,” and his Elevated Candle Company has become his creative outlet. His commitment to the environment and sustainability brought him to using repurposed wine bottles as the containers for his soy wax candles.
When he was getting Elevated Candle off the ground, he called restaurants in his home city of Tulsa, Oklahoma and asked if they were recycling their wine bottles. They weren’t, so he arranged with them to collect the empty bottles, which are then cut, beveled to remove sharp edges, and cleaned before becoming a stylish candle vessel. The different colors of wine bottles means Elevated Candles are not all the same!
Kevin’s choice of soy wax also reflects his environmental principles. Soy is a vegetable wax that burns cleanly and slowly, but it’s best feature according to Kevin is that it is completely renewable. The soy in Elevated Candles is U.S. grown, eco-friendly and carbon neutral.
Using the best fragrances that can be found, and scents that have been designed to relieve stress, each candle is hand poured over cotton wicks that are lead and zinc free. The candles are left to cure for at least a week before each candle is wrapped in tissue and then packaged in a sealed box for sale. When properly maintained, Elevated Candles are virtually smoke and soot free!
SOY Candle in up-cycled wine bottle. Handcrafted in Tulsa, OK using locally collected wine bottles. First, each bottle is carefully cut and cleaned, then it gets a cotton wick before being filled with our all natural US grown soy wax and fine fragrance and essential oil blends. The glass is then polished, labeled, and topped with an ink free dust cover. The finished candle becomes a unique artisan piece that will complete any space. 12 ounces/ 80 hours

Most of us think of Valentine’s Day as a holiday for showing love, but its history is much more varied, with several stories of martyrdom associated with it in the Christian tradition. The feast day evolved in some areas to celebrating the beginning of spring. In the Republic of Slovenia, tradition holds that plants and flowers begin to grow on this day. Even if this isn’t why we choose to send flowers on Valentine’s Day, the blooms are still a great reminder that spring will soon be here!
In ancient Rome, Valentine’s Day was thought to be the day birds chose their mate, associating the holiday with love and giving us the term “love birds.”
Two are Better the One - Art Heart
Materials: resin, metal, bead, nylon
Our tradition of sending card, flowers, chocolates and other gifts originated in the United Kingdom. The practice was not limited to romantic love, in some areas candy and small gifts were left for children on Valentine’s Day.
However you choose to celebrate, we hope Ootsie’s is your destination this Valentine’s Day! Happy Valentine's Day to all of you!

Hello!! I am a simple person with a passion for flowers and home décor. I am crazy about my God, family and business. I am not fancy with my words or in person. I say it like it is and love to share my passion. I love to talk about the things I am passionate about. My husband of 36+ years is my ROCK!!! His passions are tractors, old engines and lathes. He goes to the tractor shows which gives me a chance to go antiquing and visiting green houses, so it works out very nicely. I LOVE to learn all I can about flowers and gardening. Now you wouldn't think that were the case if you came to my house because I don't have a large garden, but that is my plan when I retire at 60 (7 years away, happy dance happy dance). My plan is to play in the dirt, when we are not traveling. So little by little I am working to make my back yard my "Ootsie Oasis" for when I retire. I hope you enjoy playing with flowers and playing in the dirt with me, because that's what I love to do. I may not know all there is to know about flowers and dirt, but I love researching and figuring it all out. Hey it's dirt, what could possibly go wrong? RIGHT? As I always say. "BLOOM WHERE YOU ARE PLANTED BECAUSE I BELIEVE IN YOU!!"
